Newly Appointed Associate Pastor and Husband

Addressing the press, she renewed her commitment and pledgde her continuous devotion and service to the church. ‘‘I have taken a new commitment to serve God more by serving his people. Being a good shepherd, a leader, a caregiver, and rendering all my services. Praying for the christians and leading them towards God for our salvation at the end. I commit myself and avail myself to do even more to the glory of God’’ she stated.

Drawing inspiration from the book of Acts 17:16-32, Rev. Bernard Forsuh, parish pastor of PC Etoug-Egbe, delivered a sermon titled "Know the God you Worship." Indulging the congregation to turn away from every form of idol worship, the man of God who doubles as the Treasurer of the East Mungo North Presbytery shared three key points emphasizing the relationship between God and humanity.

The first key point highlighted God as the Lord of the world, the creator of everything in it. He emphasized that God alone has the power to give breath, light, and everything else that sustains life.

The second key point, focused on the fact that man is God's creation, and that from one man, God made every nation, highlighting the unity of humanity under God's divine plan and the shared responsibility to honor and respect one another.

The final key point focused on the intimate relationship between God and man. Reverend Forsuh referenced the apostle Paul's words, stating, "In him, we live and move and have our being." He emphasized the need for a genuine connection and understanding of the divine.
