The General Delegate for National Security has announced a free enrollment operation for passport applicants who were using the old passport system. The operation which began on June 1st will end on the 30th of August, 2023.
This targets applicants whose passport requests were pending before the introduction of the new passport system on July 1, 2021.
Eligible applicants are invited to do their pre-enrollment online for free on www.passcam.cm. On their enrollment appointment dates, they must present themselves either at the National Center for Passport Production, an Emigration Committee office, or a diplomatic mission.
Documents required include: A certified copy of the birth certificate, a certified copy of the National Identity Card; For married women, a copy of the marriage certificate, proof of profession.
The General Delegate stressed that the free enrollment operation is only for applicants using the old system who had not yet applied under the new system. The operation will last strictly for three months, and no claims will be entertained after that period.
The General Delegate for National Security thanked applicants for their patience and cooperation as their long-pending passport requests are finally fulfilled.
